Social Media and it's Contribution to the Society

Many claim that social media has negatively changed the way people communicate. That it has led to isolation, addiction and social issues. They argue that social media is something that generally contributed less to society. These people claim that a false sense of connection has been brought where it has been more difficult to distinguish between the meaningful relationships we foster in the real world, and the numerous casual relationships formed thought social media.
I, on the other hand, believe that social media has provided a great way to connect and keep in touch with people. Social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube make it possible to connect people who share interests and activities across political, economic, and geographic borders. Engaging in social media does not bring about a false sense of connection but rather, a different manner of connecting people. Social media builds long-lasting relationships because of its convenience way to keep in touch with people no matter how much geographic distance or cultural confusion stands in the way.
Social media also allows you to communicate in an easier, faster, and more effective manner. We are given a chance to communicate in a wider audience and an easier way to contact our family. circle of friends, and other people. While social media interaction differ from face-to-face interactions in important ways, they nonetheless function as a sustainable and convenient channel for interaction.
